Material Magic is a research project
conducted by Minerva Art Academy
(Hanze University of Applied Sciences,
Groningen) in collaboration with Inno-
vatie Hub Oost-Groningen (IHOG). It
investigates alternative binding agents
such as magnesium and potato starch,
to be combined with hemp fibers.
De signer and Minerva researcher Jack
Brandsma and his students will present
samples and prototypes made of these
natural materials. Supported by the
