Gotland, Volksgarten
Der Dritte Ort reloaded: Partizipation/Begegnung
The Gotland building in the Volksgarten was donated to the City of Cologne by the Swedish Red Cross after WWII. The building is being revived as a ‘third place’ by Verein Gotland e.V. Using objects, prototypes and installations, students from the design faculty at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts designed an exhibition to experience the themes of participation and encounter.
