HIDDEN:PAPERS – An innovative approach to circular and sustainable furniture design. Cardboard is more than just a packaging material – it is an underestimated material with enormous potential. The HIDDEN:PAPERS furniture series by the young Cologne product designer Raphael Klug shows how cardboard can be rethought through clever material combinations and innovative design solutions: A removable linoleum surface and a scalable hub made of recycled plastic integrate cardboard into a modular, recyclable system. The prototype series demonstrates that established materials such as cardboard can once again become the focus of design with the right approaches: At the third machwerkschau, HIDDEN:PAPERS invites you to reevaluate materials and use them sustainably.
