Stool 60 by Alvar Aalto
Stoll 60, the three-legged stool designed by Alvar Aalto is one of the icons of modern design. Created together with Korhonen, it has been produced in the same manner since the 1930s. The stool celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2013. This anniversary will start with the exhibition created by Artek and the Alvar Aalto Museum together with the Ungers Archive for Architectural Studies. The exhibition shows the process of making the stool, from the tree to the final product.
