Opening of the Bildungswerkstatt at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences: in an interdisciplinary project, students and faculty of the departments of applied social sciences and architecture have deliberately broken with standard spatial concepts in academia and have instead focused on what makes for a stimulating learning environment. Bildungswerkstatt a space for researching and experimenting with early-learning and social education concepts, is a future-oriented space, characterised by open and flexible structures.
