Resulting from a process that combines natural and synthetic materials, woodceramics are singular biomorphic ceramics that are as unique and different as are individual pieces of wood. The exhibition features pieces by students from the Institute of Material Studies (IMD) at HfG Offenbach, headed by Prof. Dr. Markus Holzbach, created in collaboration with manufacturer Saint- Gobin and the Fraunhofer Institute.
