This project by students from the jewellery and fashion departement at the Pforzheim School of Design tackles the question of how designers perceive their discreteness. Interdisciplinary works by fashion and jewellery designers cross boundaries and break the rules of design processes. The resulting pieces resist categorisation, emancipating themselves from constraints such as functionality and rationality: they are self-referential.
