Japanese designer Oki Sato – aka Nendo – will be receiving the 2019 AW Designer of the Year Award. With this internationally renowned prize, AW Architektur & Wohnen, Germany’s style-defining magazine for interior design and architecture, will be hon­ ouring this outstandingly creative designer from Tokyo. In 16 years of work, Nendo has designed countless products for leading manufacturers such as Cappellini, Fritz Hansen, Foscarini, Kartell, Louis Poulsen and Moroso.
