Thonet – Perfektes Design von den Anfängen bis Bauhaus
Collector, writer and curator Wolfgang Thillmann has compiled an impressive collection of furniture, especially pieces by Thonet. These are the highlight of the exhibition and of the auction at VAN HAM (22 Jan 2019). More than 200 pieces, from 1850 through to the 1960s, will be shown and auctioned, including famous Thonet chairs as well as tables, rockers, daybeds, children’s and doll’s furniture, salon furniture and much more.
