In addition to light objects, Schmuckakademie Köln will be presenting two designs for light in public spaces, which architect Markus Leben (HGP Architekten, Frankfurt) and designer Katja Kempe first presented at Luminale in Frankfurt: ‘Light Boat’ is a symbol for refugees’ life­threatening journey across the Mediterranean.
