Born 1922 in Paris, Serge Mouille was admitted to the School of Applied Arts at the age of only 13. He later worked for the silversmith Hénin In 1945, Mouille opened his own studio, designing many minimalist lamps, which today sell for five- to six-figure sums. At the beginning of the 21st century, the Mouille family reissued these iconic designs as a special edition.
